A woman at an Ohio Bell Telephone Co. call center claims that when she reported her female boss's sexual harassment to the boss's boss, James Parks, Parks sexually assaulted her and then fired her on a pretext, in Cuyahoga County Court, Cleveland.

An employee claims Israel Braun, owner of American Pack Systems, forcibly fondled her genitals, in Kings County Court, Brooklyn.

Class-action complaints alleging Labor Code violations have been filed against these defendants: DHL Express, in Philadelphia Federal Court; Estee Lauder, in Orange County Court, Calif.; OCB Restaurant Co. dba Old Country Buffet, in Chicago Federal Court; Sears Roebuck and A&E Factory Service, in Austin Federal Court; Jackson Express Hotel Investments, in Jackson, Miss., Federal Court; Fraser Timber Ltd. and Fraser Papers, in Bangor Federal Court; Whitesell Corp., for a mass layoff, in Florence, Ala., Federal Court; and Four Way Pallet Co., in Houston Federal Court.
