Mercy Hospital fired a black nurse manager because she complained of discrimination and "failed to pray" at mandatory prayer meetings, she claims in Oklahoma City Federal Court.

Class-action complaints alleging Labor Code violations have been filed against these defendants: Warner Bros. Entertainment, Burger Continental, and Catholic Mortuary Services, in Los Angeles Superior Court; Furniture Bargains, in Chicago Federal Court; Lend America, in Central Islip, N.Y., Federal Court; Cazouza King Corp., in Brooklyn Federal Court; Beacon Processing Solutions, Garibaldi Mexican Cuisine, and Outdoor Living Pool & Patio, in Orlando Federal Court; Nick Larizza Masonry, and 132 Shanghai City Corp., in Manhattan Federal Court; PMSI MSA Services, in Tampa Federal Court; CVS Pharmacy, La Petite Academy, and Barfield Bay Properties, in Pinellas County Court, Fla.; Danmer Inc., in Alameda County Court, Oakland; and Timberwood Carpentry & Restoration, in Houston Federal Court.
