Medtronic imprudently invested its employees' retirement accounts in its own stock, according to an ERISA class action in Minneapolis Federal Court.

Class-action complaints alleging Labor Code violations have been filed against these defendants: Sodexo, in Los Angeles Federal Court; Bakers Footwear Group, and Zumiez, in Los Angeles Superior Court; Pickford Escrow Co., in San Diego Superior Court; Electronic Data Systems Corp., in Atlanta Federal Court; Enterprise Rent A Car, in Orlando Federal Court; South Gate Group, in Chicago Federal Court; Freedom Mortgage Corp., in Camden, N.J., Federal Court; Lennar Corp., and Bodard Bistro, in Houston Federal Court.
