A prison librarian was wrongfully fired after he received a traffic ticket, John Horton claims in Sacramento Federal Court. He wants the Service Employees International Union to pay him $140,000 in back wages.

Class-action complaints alleging Labor Code violations have been filed against these defendants: Trace Ambulance and Blackhawk Medical Transportation dba Vanderberg Ambulance in Chicago Federal Court; Chase Investigations International Ltd. in Buffalo Federal Court; CVS Pharmacy in Tampa Bay Federal Court; Intersil Corp. in Santa Clara County Court; DHL Express and KWK Trucking in Los Angeles Superior Court; Argyle Solutions in Georgia Federal Court; Echosphere LLC in Nashville Federal Court; and Cerra Insurance Agency in Dallas Federal Court.
