Time Warner Cable fired a black couple who are dating, and "advised them to incorporate a third person with them whenever they went out to lunch," but did no such things with white employees, the couple claim in Jackson County Court, Kansas City, Mo.

The EEOC filed a class-action sexual harassment claim against Mid-American Specialties, in Memphis Federal Court.

Class-action complaints alleging Labor Code violations have been filed against these defendants: Wild Oats Markets, and San Gabriel Transit, in Los Angeles Superior Court; Brentwood Market International, in Central Islip, N.Y., Federal Court; and Dukes Electric Co., in Newnan, Ga., Federal Court.
