A class action accuses New Jersey Transit, Chief Joseph Bober, Deputy Chief Joseph Kelly, and Capt. Edward Iandoli of racial discrimination, including using and encouraging offensive racial epithets in the workplace, in Essex County Court, Newark.

Class-action complaints alleging Labor Code violations have been filed against these defendants: Bank of America, and Carey Limousine, in Los Angeles Superior Court; Sears Holdings Management Corp., in an overtime complaint on behalf of auditors, in Chicago Federal Court; J. Alexander's Corp. (restaurants), in Kansas City, Kan., Federal Court; Professional Staffing-ABTS, in Rome, Ga., Federal Court; Eagle Maintenance Services, in DC Superior Court; Chamberlain's Steak & Chop House, in Dallas Federal Court; and David Powers Homes, in Houston Federal Court.
