Ortho Mattress made salespeople and managers work 10 hours a day and six days a week without overtime wages, according to a class action in San Diego Federal Court.
Class-action complaints alleging Labor Code violations have been filed against these defendants: the Lanting Hotel Group, in Los Angeles Superior Court; Owens Healthcare Retail Pharmacy, and CPS Human Resource Services, in Sacramento Federal Court; Celite Corp., in Santa Barbara Superior Court; Slentz Electric Co., and TLC Cleaning and Paint Services, in Tampa Federal Court; Tennessee Academy of Cosmetology, in Memphis Federal Court; and Tubel's Service Center, in Jacksonville, Fla., Federal Court.
(Companies not separated by commas are defendants in the same case.)
