A business development manager claims Samsung Electronics fired her for complaining about sexual harassment from the president of a Samsung company about whom other women had complained before, in Travis County Court, Austin.

The former director of the Scranton State School for the Deaf says she was fired in retaliation for a letter she wrote to a local newspaper. She sued the Pennsylvania Department of Education in Scranton Federal Court.

Class-action complaints alleging Labor Code violations have been filed against these defendants: Tek Systems, in Los Angeles Superior Court; Boot Barn, in Orange County Court, Calif.; Hott Wings dba four Hooter's outlets, in Alameda County Court, Oakland; GEICO, and The Sports Authority, in Central Islip, N.Y., Federal Court; Too Your Health Spa, in Ocala, Fla., Federal Court; and Protection Consultants, in Orlando Federal Court.

(Companies not separated by commas are defendants in the same case.)
