A class action in Los Angeles Superior Court claims Kindred Hospitals cheat on overtime at its hospitals in Brea, La Mirada, Los Angeles, Ontario, Sacramento, San Diego, San Francisco Bay Area, San Gabriel Valley, Santa Ana, and Westminster.

Home Depot won't let its cashiers sit down, which is illegal in California, a class action claims in Los Angeles Superior Court.

Class-action complaints alleging Labor Code violations have been filed against these defendants: Target Corp., and Delivery Solutions, in Los Angeles Superior Court; Hyundai Motor America, in Orange County Court, Calif.; International Marine and Industrial Applicators, in San Diego Superior Court; Garcia Concrete Specialists, in Alameda County Court, Oakland; Petersen Cos. dba Rochelle Rehabilitation & Health Care Center, in Chicago Federal Court; Sprint Nextel, in Clark County Court, Nev.; Joe Jurgielewicz & Sons, in Philadelphia Federal Court; Royal Celebration Inn, in Orlando Federal Court; Brunswick Corp. dba Mercury Marine, in Payne County Court, Stillwater, Okla.; Premier Manufacturing Support Services, in Gadsden, Ala., Federal Court; Lifesouth Community Blood Centers, in Birmingham, Ala., Federal Court; Huffmaster Crisis Response, in Dallas Federal Court; and Mid-City Security, in Fort Worth Federal Court.

(Companies not separated by commas are defendants in the same case.)
