When a Macy's manager sexually harassed a married employee and she complained, Macy's bosses said they "felt sorry for the harasser" and fired the woman instead of him, she claims in Topeka Federal Court.

Fifth Third Bank fired a worker for complaining that it approved loans without seeing the appraisals, which is illegal, he claims in Cincinnati Federal Court.

Class-action complaints alleging Labor Code violations have been filed against these defendants: Alcoa Fastening Systems, and Bobby D's Restaurant, in Orange County Court, Calif.; Washington Inventory Service dba Wis International, in San Diego Superior Court; Cox Transportation Services, in Richmond, Va., Federal Court; T-Mobile USA, in Brooklyn Federal Court; and Velocity Express, in Allegheny County Court, Pittsburgh.

(Companies not separated by commas are defendants in the same case.)
