Lusk Mechanical Contractors tolerated a racially threatening workplace, including a noose and Klan symbols, and fired a black worker when he complained of it, the man claims in Jefferson County Court, Louisville.

Class-action complaints alleging Labor Code violations have been filed against these defendants: Bloomingdale's and Macy's and Federated Department Stores, Kelly Services, Gold Star Foods, and KForce, in Los Angeles Superior Court; Dresdner Kleinwort and UCS Computer Systems, in Manhattan Federal Court; Model Management Services, in Philadelphia Federal Court; Machinery Services Corp. and Rapid Pump & Meter Service Co., in Bergen County Court, Hackensack, N.J.; Cana Communications, in Atlanta Federal Court; Metz & Associates, in Orlando Federal Court; Impact Resource Group, in Tampa Federal Court; Ameriseal Northeast Florida, in Jacksonville Federal Court; and Express Employment Professionals and Express Personnel Services, in Greeneville, Miss., Federal Court.

(Companies not separated by commas are defendants in the same case.)
