An employee claims he was sexually assaulted by the Director of Admissions and Student Affairs for the USC School of Pharmacy, J. Alvin Granderson, in Los Angeles Superior Court.

Automatic Switch and Emerson Electric Co. suspended a woman for two weeks without pay because she truthfully reported that her supervisor sexually assaulted her at work by ripping her bra off, she claims in Morris County Court, N.J.

Class-action complaints alleging Labor Code violations have been filed against these defendants: Indymac Bancorp, in San Diego Superior Court; Inter-Con Security Systems dba Healthcare Security Services Group, in Sacramento Federal Court; ITT Technical Institute, and Cableview Communications of Jacksonville, in Jacksonville, Fla., Federal Court; Florida Power and Light, in Orlando Federal Court; Taylor Bean & Whitaker Mortgage Corp., for a mass layoff, in Atlanta Federal Court; Lowes Home Center, in Lafayette, La., Federal Court; and Beverly Health and Rehabilitation Services dba Golden Living Center, in Gadsden, Ala., Federal Court.

(Companies not separated by commas are defendants in the same case.)
