A woman claims Ameritech dba AT&T Midwest Services fired her for objecting to sexual harassment, including demands to meet at strip clubs for work-related meetings, in Detroit Federal Court.

A Korean immigrant claims he worked 117 hours a week for nearly 2 years for the LISS School in Saipan - from 6 a.m. to 1 a.m. - but was not paid, and was told he could not leave the islands "because his visa was still being processed," in Northern Mariana Islands Federal Court.

Class-action complaints alleging Labor Code violations have been filed against these defendants: Providence Health Systems-Southern California, Interthinx, and Motel 6/Accor North America, in Los Angeles Superior Court; Gemini Traffic Sales, in Gainesville, Ga., Federal Court; Regions Bank dba Regions Morgan Keegan Trust, in an ERISA complaint in Dothan, Ala., Federal Court; and Deep Marine Technology Inc., in Houston Federal Court.

(Companies not separated by commas are defendants in the same case.)
