Fluor Corp. constructively fired a manager in Afghanistan because he refused to falsify records about injuries and illnesses, which would have been a federal crime, Jon Cole claims in Fort Bend County, Texas.

Class-action complaints alleging Labor Code violations have been filed against these defendants: Hewlett-Packard, in Atlanta Federal Court; Lowe's Home Improvement Warehouse, in Los Angeles Superior Court; Rick Case Hyundai, and Air Around the Clock Air Conditioning, in Fort Lauderdale Federal Court; Riptide Cable Holdings, in Fort Pierce, Fla., Federal Court; First Universal Lending, in West Palm Beach Federal Court; Eskridge Trucking Co., in Tuscaloosa Federal Court; and Sun Electrical and Instrumentation, in Baton Rouge Federal Court.

(Companies not separated by commas are defendants in the same case.)
