Three nurses seek punitive damages from the Medical Center at Princeton, claiming they were subjected to "a willful and malicious anti-Semitic purge" against what their boss called "the Jew crew," in Burlington County Court, N.J.

The women say co-defendant Sheri Glanding, a nurse manager, "systematically targeted the Jewish nurses with false and pretextual disciplines, suspensions, and terminations." Glanding allegedly refers to Jewish nurses as the "Jew crew."

Florida Glass of Tampa Bay fired a supervisor for objecting to its practice of "creat(ing) a fake company" to send bogus, higher bids for jobs, the manager says in a whistleblower claim in Hillsborough County Court.

Class-action complaints alleging Labor Code violations have been filed against these defendants: Stanley Steemer International, in Los Angeles Superior Court; Mercury Insurance Services, in Orange County Court, Calif.; Jewish Home Lifecare, in Manhattan Federal Court; Partners Health Care System, Boston Medical Center Corp., UMass Memorial Hospitals, and Caritas Christi Network Services, in Boston Federal Court; Ferraro Foods, in Camden County Court, N.J.; Perry Homes, in Houston Federal Court; Sleep Country USA, in Seattle Federal Court; Meda Painting and Refinishing, in Detroit Federal Court; and Blackburn Technical Services, in Tuscaloosa Federal Court.
