A white police officer claims the Town of Highland Beach, Fla., harassed and fired him because he's married to a black woman, in Miami Federal Court.

The Milwaukee Police Association Local 21 says Milwaukee is illegally forcing them to take two unpaid "furlough" days this year, and four days next year, in Milwaukee Federal Court.

Class-action complaints alleging Labor Code violations have been filed against these defendants: Big 5 Sporting Goods, and Parasys, in Los Angeles Superior Court; International House of Pancakes, in San Mateo County Court; Antonio Mozzarella Factory, in Newark Federal Court; International Marina Group, and Chancellor Holding II LLC, in Orlando Federal Court; and Blevins Road Boring, in Tampa Federal Court.

(Companies not separated by commas are defendants in the same case.)
