Lowe's Home Center harassed and refused to promote a woman because the manager said he "would not have a Jew in management at his store," the woman claims in Greeneville, Miss., Federal Court.

Class-action complaints alleging Labor Code violations have been filed against these defendants: Shakey's USA, and Diskeeper Corp., in Los Angeles Superior Court; Oracle Corp., and North American Video Corp., in Alameda County Court, Oakland; Lifestyle Lift, in San Francisco Federal Court; Kaplan Higher Education Corp., in Cook County Court; Bridgestone Americas, in Seattle Federal Court; and Citywide Mortgage Associates, in Kansas City, Kan., Federal Court.

(Companies not separated by commas are defendants in the same case.)
