A former vice president claims Jewish Hospital & St. Mary's Healthcare fired him for truthfully informing the board that the CEO and CFE were cooking the books, in Jefferson County Court, Louisville.

Class-action complaints alleging Labor Code violations have been filed against these defendants: Southern California Edison, Fry's Electronics, Lacoste USA, S&B Field Services, and Famsa, in Los Angeles Superior Court; Dejon Enterprises, and Buca Restaurants 2, in Orange County Court, Calif.; Vigilucci's Seafood and Steakhouse, in San Diego Superior Court; Verizon Communications, in Manhattan Federal Court; Corwood Laboratories, and East Brooklyn Security Services, in Brooklyn Federal Court; Ther-Rx Corp., in Montgomery, Ala., Federal Court; Grainger Farms, in Fort Myers, Fla., Federal Court; Perry Homes, in Austin Federal Court; and DOC Maintenance, in Orlando Federal Court.

(Companies not separated by commas are defendants in the same case.)
