A woman says her boss at Integra Healthcare told her he would "question her integrity" if she voted for Barack Obama in 2008, and fired her a week after she did it, in a racial discrimination claim in Kansas City, Mo., Federal Court.
Class-action complaints alleging Labor Code violations have been filed against these defendants: The Vons Cos., and American Apparel, in Los Angeles Superior Court; Union Bank, in Orange County Court, Calif.; America's Collectibles Network dba Jewelry Television, in Knoxville Federal Court; Amtec, in Manhattan Federal Court; NJK Contractors, in Brooklyn Federal Court; and Waste Management of Arkansas, in Pine Bluff Federal Court.
(Companies not separated by commas are defendants in the same case.)
