A man claims the City of Detroit wrongfully fired him after an incompetent "investigator" claimed he had aided and abetted the theft of toilet paper.

Class-action complaints alleging Labor Code violations have been filed against these defendants: R&B Realty Corp. dba Oakwood Apartments Housing Investors, in Los Angeles Superior Court; Main Street California II, for a mass layoff, in San Francisco Federal Court; CRST Van Expedited, in San Diego Superior Court; Allied Home Mortgage, Washington Mutual/JPMorgan Chase Bank, and Lear Siegler Services, in Houston Federal Court; Odyssey Entertainment Showgirls Lounge, in Grand Rapids, Mich., Federal Court; CWA Transport, in Madison, Wisc., Federal Court; Taco Bell, and FMRS Inc., in Tampa Federal Court; and All My Sons Moving Co., in Clark County Court, Las Vegas.

(Companies not separated by commas are defendants in the same case.)
