Class-action complaints alleging Labor Code violations have been filed against these defendants: The Plumbers Warehouse, Rose Hills Mortuary, and Ashley Furniture Industries, in Los Angeles Superior Court; Carl Karcher Enterprises, and Smith Media dba KEYT-TV, in Santa Barbara Superior Court; Vtex Global, in San Diego Superior Court; Wal-Mart Stores, in Plymouth County Court, Mass.; Henry Limousine, in Kings County Court, Brooklyn; Ayala Food Markets, in Houston Federal Court; Pike Electric, in Orlando Federal Court; Kimmins Contracting Corp., in Tampa Federal Court; and Chicks Ahoy dba Oasis Restaurant, in Fort Myers, Fla., Federal Court.
