A McDonald's manager, Chris Polanci, forcibly raped a cashier in a walk-in freezer, she says in a claim against the corporation in Jefferson County Court, Beaumont, Texas.

Class-action complaints alleging Labor Code violations have been filed against these defendants: Tommy Bahama Group, and Grasshopper House, in Los Angeles Federal Court; Griley Airfreight, Eastgage Petroleum, CS Drywall, San Dimas Community Hospital, Déjà vu Consulting and Cathay Entertainment, and Recess Film Productions and Gigapix Studios, in Los Angeles Superior Court; Staples, in Butte, Mont., Federal Court; Tenet Healthcare, Genesis Healthcare, and Advanta, in Philadelphia Federal Court; and Haltz Construction, in Chicago Federal Court.

(Companies not separated by commas are defendants in the same case.)
