Wilson County, Tenn., "has the reputation of not hiring African Americans," and violates its own nepotism policy, according to a class action in Nashville Federal Court.

Class-action complaints alleging Labor Code violations have been filed against these defendants: Renzenberger Inc., and Dav-El Los Angeles, in Los Angeles Superior Court; Les Schwab Tire Centers of California, and Blockbuster, in Sacramento Superior Court; Coastal Pride Towing, in San Diego Superior Court; HCR Manorcare, in Philadelphia Federal Court; HCA Health Services of Tennessee, in Nashville Federal Court; E. Ochi Inc., in Manhattan Federal Court; ATX Services, in Kansas City, Mo., Federal Court; Scotch Investment Corp., in Wichita Federal Court; Moby Dick Inc. and Moby Dick I-XI, in DC Federal Court.

(Companies not separated by commas are defendants in the same case.)
