Sunstar Kalamazoo dba Motel 6 and Akhil Bhatt fired two workers after they needed medical treatment for exposure to a motel room that had been used as a meth lab, the former employees claim in Kalamazoo County Court, Mich.

Class-action complaints alleging Labor Code violations have been filed against these defendants: Blockbuster, Kaiser Foundation Hospitals, Time Warner Cable, and Daughters of Charity Health System, in Los Angeles Superior Court; Ortho Mattress, and Southern California Pizza Co., in Orange County Court, Calif.; ITT Corp., in Boise Federal Court; Old Second Bancorp, and Sudler Building Services, in Chicago Federal Court; Don Stoltzner Mason Contractor, in Cook County Court; Alternative Entertainment, in Madison, Wisc., Federal Court; Frontier Healthcare Group, in Beaumont, Texas, Federal Court; PTM Management, and Best Metropolitan Towel & Linen Service, in Brooklyn Federal Court.

(Companies not separated by commas are defendants in the same case.)
