Xe Services fka Blackwater Security Consulting stiffs employees for overtime and misclassifies them as independent contractors, according to a class action in Raleigh, N.C., Federal Court.

Class-action complaints alleging Labor Code violations have been filed against these defendants: Hootwinc, in San Diego Superior Court; Ideal Mortgage Bankers dba Lend America, for a mass layoff, in Central Islip, N.Y., Federal Court; CVS Rx Services, in Brooklyn Federal Court; George S. May International, in Chicago Federal Court; the District of Columbia Government, in DC Federal Court; United Maintenance Janitorial, Horizon National Contract Services, and Home Depot, in a single complaint in Albuquerque Federal Court; National Counseling Group, in Norfolk, Va., Federal Court; USA Travel Centers, in Montgomery, Ala., Federal Court; and Aquatic Design & Engineering, in Orlando Federal Court.

(Companies not separated by commas are defendants in the same case.)
