Nordstrom requires workers to work 7 to 10 days in a row and won't pay them the mandatory premium for working split shifts, a class action claims in Orange County Court, Calif.

Class-action complaints alleging Labor Code violations have been filed against these defendants: Radio Disney Group, and 20/20 Communications, in Los Angeles Superior Court; Kmart, in Alameda County Court, Oakland; Market Source and Allegis Group, in Fresno Federal Court; Metropolitan Life Insurance Co., in an ERISA complaint in Phoenix Federal Court; Pro Klean, in Mecklenburg County Court, N.C.

(Companies not separated by commas are defendants in the same case.)
