After a co-worker sexually assaulted a young woman, and she and the police asked Mathews Management Co. dba McDonalds not to schedule the two to work the same shift, the restaurant manager did so anyway, told her to "suck it up and be a big girl," and threatened to fire her if she refused to work with her assailant, she complains in Brenton County Court, Fayetteville, Ark., Federal Court.
Class-action complaints alleging Labor Code violations have been filed against these defendants: Pacific Rim Enterprises, in San Jose Federal Court; Boston Market Corp., in an overtime complaint on behalf of assistant managers, in Hartford Federal Court; the State of Connecticut, for racial discrimination, in Bridgeport Federal Court; Dharma Group and Jillian's, in Suffolk County Court, Boston; Cheddar's Casual Café, in Chicago Federal Court; and Gemini 26 dba Bauernfeind Goedtel, in Minneapolis Federal Court.
