Comcast Cable Communications faces a class action complaint from employees, in Santa Clara County Court, Calif.

Class-action complaints alleging Labor Code violations have been filed against these defendants: Cargill Meat Logistic Solutions, West-Pac Protective Services, Cam Guard Security, and Ampco System Parking, in Los Angeles Superior Court; APL Logistics Warehouse Management Services, in Alameda County Court, Oakland; Smythe Automotive, in Cincinnati Federal Court; Toasties One Corp., in Manhattan Federal Court; Saybolt and Core Laboratories, in Raleigh, N.C., Federal Court; Unitrin, in Scranton, Pa., Federal Court; and St. Luke's Episcopal Hospital, in Houston Federal Court.

(Companies not separated by commas are defendants in the same case.)
