Employee Says Sheriff Sodomized Her

BIRMINGHAM, ALA. (CN) - Blount County Sheriff Danny Morton forced an employee to drive around with him and a deputy and get drunk, then took her to the deputy's house, where the sheriff forcibly sodomized her, she claims in Federal Court.

She claims Morton initiated the indecencies on March 24 by telling her, "If you like your job, drink."

She claims Morton drove unsafely, while drunk, "weaving and barely avoiding other cars on the road," before he assaulted her at the deputy's house.

She is represented by Adam Morel.
