Emissions Scandal Fallout

Volkswagen must face a proposed class action suit brought by a bonds-purchaser who sold the bonds for a loss following the auto manufacturer’s emissions scandal, a federal court in California ruled. The claims are based on Volkswagen’s failure to disclose that it had secretly installed devices in cars to mask “unlawfully high emissions.”
