Embezzlement

A professional drummer who was music director of the nonparty Arsenio Hall Show, pleaded guilty to wire fraud Wednesday: “embezzling $750,000 from a charity concert for homeless children and using the stolen money to pay alimony to his ex-wife and buy cars for his mother and son."

LOS ANGELES — Robin DiMaggio, 48, of Woodland Hills, Calif., a professional drummer who was music director of “The Arsenio Hall Show,” pleaded guilty to wire fraud Wednesday. Federal prosecutors say he “embezzl[ed] $750,000 from a charity concert for homeless children and using the stolen money to pay alimony to his ex-wife and buy cars for his mother and son.”
