Elephants’ rights

SAN FRANCISCO — The Nonhuman Rights Project sues the Fresno Zoo on behalf of three elephants, asserting their common law right to bodily liberty. They should be sent to a sanctuary where they can exercise their “autonomy and extraordinary cognitive complexity.”
