Two founders of Students United sued the State of Nebraska in Lancaster County Court, saying it should pull from the Nov. 4 ballot the so-called Nebraska Civil Rights Initiative, which would ban affirmative action in state programs, because qualifying signatures were collected by fraud.

Anderson Homes built and sold defective single-family houses, a class action claims in Stanislaus County Court, Calif.
