Martin Crowley, who lost a 2006 judicial election by 26 votes, sued Nevada and Churchill County in Reno Federal Court, alleging a host of irregularities and unfair charges - including forcing the candidates to pay for the recount.
The Dallas County Democratic Party sued the Recount Supervisor for District 105 of the Texas House in Dallas County Court, claiming the Secretary of State, a Republican, issued illegal instructions for a recount. The Democratic candidate trails the Republican by 20 votes.
