GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. — A judge in Mesa County, Colorado, ruled clerk and recorder Tina Peters and her deputy, Belinda Knisley, cannot act as designated election officials during the November election because they breached their duties failing to ensure that confidential passwords weren’t displayed to the public and by bringing in an outside party to copy the hard drives of voting equipment computers.
