The Wisconsin Voters Alliance and a group of eligible voters sued the five most populous cities in Wisconsin on Thursday for taking more than $6 million in federal election grant money from a left-leaning advocacy group, even though the Help Americans Vote Act preempts municipalities from accepting private federal grant money.
