Reporting a rise in broken bones among older U.S. adults with dogs, a study published Wednesday in JAMA says the number of dog-walking injuries in the 65-and-up crowd jumped from almost 1,700 in 2004 to about 4,400 in 2017. Hip fractures were the most common injury.
