EL PASO, Texas (CN) - El Paso County Commissioner Elizabeth Flores took bribes for voting to settle a class action claim involving county land, and to settle another class action about overtime pay for sheriff's officers, the county claims in Federal Court. This RICO lawsuit accuses Flores with conspiring with 17 others.
Flores pleaded guilty in July 2007 to a 6-count federal information involving the land deal, according to this complaint.

LP, Americas Loop 375, Trofree LLC, Carefree Homes I, and Tropicana Development Inc.
