Egg Farms Accused Of Deceiving Consumers

HACKENSACK (CN) - United Egg Producers and ISE America deceive consumers by stamping their products "Animal Care Certified," though their birds actually suffer such overcrowding and neglect that hens are left to die and rot in their cages alongside living birds, Compassion Over Killing claims in Middlesex County Court.

COK claims the defendants' misleading slogan violates agreements with the federal government and 16 states.
