EEOC Turns Up The Heat

(CN) – The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission had a busy Monday.

It accused Brake Depot of discriminating against Hispanic employees, in San Diego Federal Court. It sued Ralph’s Grocery Co. in Chicago Federal Court, accusing it of disability discrimination and retaliating against an employee who sued Ralph’s for its illegal, mandatory arbitration policy. It sued Taco Bell in Memphis Federal Court, claiming its manager Terence Davis, 35, sexually assaulted a 16-year-old employee on her first day of work. And it sued The Alpha Group of Delaware in Columbus, Ohio, Federal Court, claiming its CEO Joe Leonard sexually harassed female employees and fired one who complained about it.
