Edward Davila Joins San Jose Federal Court

SAN JOSE (CN) - The San Jose federal bench has a full complement of judges again, with the addition of U.S. District Judge Edward Davila, who was sworn in after serving 10 years as judge in the Santa Clara County Superior Court.

Davila, a graduate of the University of California Hastings College of Law, worked 7 years as a deputy public defender in Santa Clara County and 13 years in private practice. He is a former president of the Santa Clara County Bar Association and La Raza Lawyers of Santa Clara County.
