Eastern Hellbender

While eight species of fish aren’t imperiled enough to warrant protections under the Endangered Species Act, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service agreed Wednesday a Missouri population segment of the salamander species Eastern hellbender should be protected as endangered.
