DynCorp Hoodwinked It, Subcontractor Says

ALEXANDRIA, Va. (CN) - A subcontractor sued DynCorp for $36.5 million in Federal Court, saying the defense giant claimed its work on a Pentagon contract as its own. T.E. Security demands damages for breach of contract, misappropriation of trade secrets and fraud.

T.E. Security, of Waldorf, Md., says DynCorp asked for its help to get the contract and signed a teaming agreement with it. It claims DynCorp used its services on a portion of the contract that involved specialized aircraft leasing and security services in Iraq and Afghanistan, then dumped T.E. and took credit for its work.

T.E. Security seeks compensatory and punitive damages. It is represented by Torsten Kracht of Hunton Williams of Washington, D.C.
