Dunkin’ dodges discrimination claims

SAN FRANCISCO — A federal court in California dismissed an Americans with Disabilities Act lawsuit against Dunkin’ Donuts, which consumers sued over the extra fee charged for non-dairy milk alternatives. They argued the practice targets people with lactose intolerance or milk allergies, but Dunkin’ charges the fee to all consumers who request a non-dairy option, regardless of their dietary restrictions or digestive ailments.
