Drunk Priest Drove Through A Wall,|Hurting Her And Kids, Mom Says

AUSTIN (CN) - A drunk priest drove his Chevy pickup through the wall of a restaurant, injuring a woman and her two children, the mom says in Travis County Court. The mom sued Fr. Karel Fink and the Roman Catholic Diocese of Austin.

Christine Mick says Fink had just been released from a treatment center for alcoholics when he drove through the wall.

She says police arrested Fink, who blew .16 on a breathalyzer, twice the state limit.

Mick says she and her two kids had just sat down to dinner at La Cabana Restaurant in Smithville when Fink drove through the wall. She is represented by Daryl Hayes with Burnett & Burke of Abilene.
