Drugmakers Accused Of Patent Fraud

NEWARK (CN) - Altana Pharma and Wyeth Pharmaceuticals committed patent fraud to prevent generic forms of Protonix (pantoprazole sodium), an acid-reflux drug, from coming on the market, according to a class-action antitrust claim in Federal Court. See complaint.
