WASHINGTON (CN) - Urinating into a cup for drug and alcohol screenings had to be directly observed for Department of Transportation workers returning to duty or getting follow up tests, as of Nov. 1. Twelve days later, however, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit issued a stay of this provision.
On Nov. 20, the rule language was changed to its previous version, pending future court orders.
