Sarah said she had seen Megan take medication while they were on vacation together.

"Did your mother see Megan take medication," asked O'Brien.

"Yes."

O'Brien asked the same question again, to hammer it home, and then paused for a long while, consulting his trial notebook, and letting the answer linger in the silence.
