DraftKings faces gamblers’ class action

CHICAGO — DraftKings and its Illinois casino partner will face most of the claims brought by a class of sports betters who sued the sports betting platform for allegedly misleading users with “risk-free” wagers and for fostering gambling addictions. The bettors plausibly allege deceptive advertising, unfair marketing to underage users and product-defect theories tied to the platform’s app interface.
