Don Nelson Sues Mavericks For $7 Million

DALLAS (CN) - Former Dallas Mavericks head coach Don Nelson says team owner Mark Cuban "decided to punish Nelson for taking another job" by refusing to pay him millions of dollars in deferred compensation. Nelson says an arbitrator awarded him $7.1 million and Cuban promised to pay it, but refuses to do so.

Nelson sued the Dallas Mavericks in Dallas County Court. He is represented by Mark Davenport with Figari & Davenport.
